The Attorney
Michael A. Elliott is an Arizona and Navajo Nation attorney based in Flagstaff. He focuses on debt relief, consumer protection, foreclosure prevention, financial fraud, housing stability, and elder law for Native, rural, older, veteran, and working clients. His elder-law practice includes wills, estates, incapacity planning, probate, guardianship and conservatorship matters, and protection from abuse and financial exploitation.
Before turning his practice toward legal aid and community-based advocacy, Michael spent 12 years in law-firm and in-house counsel roles, including as Legal Director and Associate General Counsel at Cvent, Inc. From 2020 to 2026, he served at DNA-People’s Legal Services, including as Senior Arizona Attorney, where he helped develop DNA’s consumer bankruptcy and debt-counseling practice, and handled financial fraud, housing stability, wills and probate matters.
